Bangalore bans use of swimming pools and gyms in residential complexes amid COVID-19 spike

Bengaluru: In the wake of rising cases in Bengaluru, the city police on Wednesday prohibited the utilization of pools, exercise centers, party lobbies, and other comparative exercises in private edifices, news organization ANI detailed.
"Restrict activity of conveniences like Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Party Halls in loft/private edifices in Bengaluru City" the request peruses. Likewise, Section 144 of the CrPC will be forced into the city from today.
On Tuesday, the Bengaluru police Commissioner Kamal Pant gave a prohibitory request on meetings, shows, public social events, capacities, and gathering petitions.
The request dated April 4, expressed that the Chief Secretary as the director of the state leader advisory group of Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority forced limitations for public security and wellbeing, for example, wearing facemasks, physical separating, and hand cleanliness.
Other than a restriction on meetings and exhibits in the city, the police said bars, bars, clubs, and eateries ought not to have guests in excess of 50% seating limit.
Anybody found abusing the orders will be reserved under the Disaster Management Act and Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act.
In the meantime, the city has revealed 4,266 new cases and 26 passings on Tuesday.
