Clergyman for Communications, Ravi Shankar Prasad, feels that India's BPO industry can possibly develop huge amounts at a time.
"India's BPO industry is today at US$ 37.6 billion. It can possibly ascend to US$ 55.5 billion by 2025," Prasad said on Wednesday (June 23).
"We've given a rule today (June 23) that is broadly changing the other specialist co-ops' rules. The rule is progressive in nature that will make India an entirely ideal objective for extension of voice-related BPO focuses," the mister added.
Laying out the changes, Prasad said, "Qualification between homegrown and worldwide OSP (Other Service Providers) has been eliminated. A BPO focus with a typical telecom asset can now serve clients found around the world, including India. It's a significant change that we've taken." He added, "The Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange (EPABX) of the OSP can be found anyplace on the planet."
Prasad likewise referenced that these rules are intended to put India as a focal and genuine part of the whole global BPO and voice-related industry.
